On 20 August, Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan Laziz Kudratov held a meeting with Head of the Republic of Mordovia Artyom Zdunov.

 

The parties reviewed prospects for expanding trade and economic ties, industrial cooperation, and direct interaction between the regions.

 

Particular attention was paid to developing joint projects in pharmaceuticals, electrical engineering, metallurgy, agriculture, woodworking, and IT.

 

The parties discussed opportunities to establish new production facilities at industrial parks in the Bukhara, Navoi, and Jizzakh regions, as well as to expand direct contacts between enterprises.

 

An agreement was reached to intensify work on specific cooperation and investment initiatives and to continue engagement between the relevant institutions and business communities.
