Nephroplus

NephroPlus entered Uzbekistan in 2020 as part of the country’s bold healthcare modernization program. Uzbekistan, with a growing population and rising demand for specialized medical services, has prioritized public-private partnerships (PPPs) to attract global expertise. NephroPlus was awarded the first nationwide dialysis PPP in Central Asia, making Uzbekistan a regional leader in innovative healthcare delivery.

Under this partnership with the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan, NephroPlus is responsible for designing, financing, equipping, and operating a network of modern dialysis centers across multiple regions. The project covers over 50 locations nationwide, ensuring access to high-quality dialysis treatment for thousands of patients who previously faced limited options or long travel distances.

The company’s investment of over USD 40 million includes advanced dialysis equipment, water purification systems, and international-standard infection control protocols. Each center provides state-of-the-art hemodialysis services, nutritional counseling, and patient education programs, empowering individuals to manage their health and improve their quality of life. NephroPlus also trains Uzbek medical staff to international standards, transferring know-how in nephrology nursing, biomedical engineering, and patient care management.

NephroPlus’s Uzbekistan operations create significant social and economic impact. The project is expected to serve more than 1,000 patients daily, reduce the burden on public hospitals, and lower treatment costs for the government while ensuring consistent quality. Hundreds of local healthcare professionals have already benefited from training programs, gaining expertise in advanced dialysis techniques and patient-centric care models.

Beyond clinical services, NephroPlus actively engages with the community through public awareness campaigns on kidney health and the importance of early detection of chronic kidney disease. Educational programs in schools and workplaces promote healthier lifestyles and preventive care, contributing to Uzbekistan’s long-term public health goals.

Today, NephroPlus stands as a model of successful healthcare partnership in Uzbekistan. By combining global medical expertise with local commitment, the company helps the country strengthen its healthcare infrastructure, enhance patient outcomes, and set a new benchmark for public-private collaboration in Central Asia. NephroPlus’s journey in Uzbekistan demonstrates how strategic investment in healthcare can transform lives and deliver sustainable social value.
