BYD Uzbekistan Factory

In October 2023, BYD signed an investment agreement with the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan, reaffirming its long-term commitment to developing local manufacturing. The company entered the Uzbek market by launching production at the Jizzakh Free Economic Zone in January 2024. The project aligns with Uzbekistan's strategic priorities in industrial modernization, the adoption of environmentally friendly technologies, and the transition to sustainable mobility.
